Grocers List Review: How I'm Growing My Traffic & Email List

Grocers List is how I grow my traffic and my email list!Grocers List is how I grow my traffic and my email list!

What is Grocers List?

Grocers List (grocerslist.com) is a social media automation tool that helps creators, bloggers, and small businesses grow traffic and build email lists ... straight from Instagram and Facebook.

Instead of relying on Instagram's “link in bio,” Grocers List automatically sends a direct message (DM) with your link when someone comments a keyword on your post or reel. It works for recipes, affiliate links, freebies, shoppable pages, and more.

My Real-Life Grocers List Results

In just my first month alone in using Grocers List for one of my sites, on Instagram (with a very small following) and Facebook, here’s what I saw:

  • 1.7k DMs sent
  • 1.5k opened
  • 1.4k link clicks
  • 94.8% click-through rate
  • 188 new email signups

Since I monetize through Mediavine, the added traffic alone exceeds the $30 subscription by a wide margin. But what makes it even better is the email growth ...those 188 people now on my list that I can reach anytime.

How Grocers List Works

  1. Pick a keyword for your post. (Mine is usually “recipe.”)
  2. Post on social media with a call-to-action like: “Comment RECIPE and I’ll DM you the link.”
  3. Grocers List scans comments for the keyword and automatically sends the link in a direct message.

You can:

Add multiple keyword variations (including misspellings or other languages).

Customize the DM with up to three buttons/links. For now, I'm using "Tap for link!" and "Save to email". The Instacart or Amazon Fresh are good buttons to include as well.

Use it across different types of posts ... recipes, giveaways, sales, or affiliate promotions.

Grocers List also takes Instagram recipe posts and turns them into shoppable ingredient lists that you can bring in-store, or click to push to Instacart.

Another option to use are Grocers List's Amazon Deep Links. Deep linking can multiply Amazon affiliate revenue, with reports of up to 5x improvement. It opens directly in the app for a quicker checkout.

Why I Recommend Grocers List

  • High engagement: My CTR was nearly 95%.
  • Email growth: 188 new subscribers in just the first month.
  • Automation: No more manually sending links in DMs.
  • Easy setup: No website changes required.
  • Multi-use: Works for recipes, affiliate links, promotions, and more
  • Grocers list is verified as a Tech Partner for Meta, so it's legit.

Cost of Grocers List

  • $30/month (with a free one-month trial).
  • Mediavine publishers can get an extra 25% off for the first 6 months. Just go on their chat and let them know you're a Mediavine-r.
  • Special offer for my readers: sign up with my link, you’ll get $30 credit applied to your subscription price.

Between the extra traffic Grocers List sends to my site and the email list growth it drives, I more than make up the monthly fee. In my first month alone I saw 1.7k DMs sent, 1.5k opened, 1.4k link clicks, and 188 new email signups. That traffic adds ad revenue, and the new subscribers keep returning for future recipes, which multiplies the value over time.

Platforms Supported

  • Instagram (where it all started)
  • Facebook (now integrated)
  • Pinterest (coming soon)

Final Thoughts: Is Grocers List Worth It?

Grocerslist gives me reliable traffic and steady email growth with very little effort. On Instagram, the experience is simple: readers comment RECIPE on a post, get an automatic DM within seconds, tap once, and land on the recipe. No link-in-bio hunting and no manual messaging, and the same flow works on Facebook.

Remember, if you use my link, you’ll get $30 credit applied to your subscription price!

I only recommend tools I personally use and love ... and Grocers List truly is a game-changer to make my social media posts more user friendly.
